CKA & CKAD Practice Questions — Free Kubernetes Quizzes
Both Kubernetes certifications are hands-on. You get a terminal, a set of clusters, and tasks to complete — no multiple choice anywhere in the exam. So be clear about what these quizzes are for: they test whether you know the things you’ll need to do quickly under time pressure. Which admission controller enforces what. What kubeadm upgrade touches and in what order. Where etcd snapshots actually live. Use them alongside hands-on practice, not instead of it.
The questions come from the areas people lose time on in the real exam and get stuck on in real clusters: control plane architecture, the kubelet, pod lifecycle and eviction, taints and tolerations, ConfigMaps and Secrets, CoreDNS and network policies, RBAC and admission control, etcd backup and restore, cluster upgrades, and logging.
Where to start
Taking the CKA? Cluster architecture, etcd backup and restore, and kubeadm upgrades. Etcd restore is the task candidates most often run out of time on.
Taking the CKAD? Pod lifecycle, ConfigMaps and Secrets, and network policies. The exam assumes you can write manifests from memory.
Not certifying, just running clusters? Scheduling and taints, RBAC, and CoreDNS — the three things behind most “why won’t this pod start” incidents.
Every question includes an explanation. Free, no signup, roughly 15 minutes each.
